Booking & Cancelation Policy

All tee times must be booked online. A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve your tee time. Your card will not be charged at the time of booking. Golfers may pay at check-in in the clubhouse or through the mobile app. Reservations may be changed or canceled up to 1 hour before the scheduled tee time without penalty. Golfers can cancel online or over the phone. Tee times not canceled or adjusted at least 1 hour in advance are subject to a $20 fee per missing golfer for no-shows and short-shows. By booking a tee time, you agree to these terms.

Short-Show Policy

A short-show occurs when fewer golfers arrive than were included in the original reservation and the tee time was not adjusted at least 1 hour in advance. Short-shows are subject to a $20 fee per missing golfer.

Arrival Policy

Please arrive and check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time. Golfers who arrive late may lose their original tee time and will be accommodated only if space is available. This helps us maintain pace of play for all guests.

Pairing Policy

To help maintain pace of play and tee sheet availability, groups of fewer than four players may be paired with other golfers. Golfers are expected to play with their assigned group unless all spots in the tee time have been reserved. If you prefer not to be paired, you may reserve all available spots in the tee time, however, you will be subject to a short show fee of $20 per golfer.

Cart Policy

Golf cart fees are charged per seat. Each golfer riding in a cart must pay for a seat. Golfers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license to rent and operate a golf cart. Guests are responsible for any damage that occurs while the cart is in their possession. Carts must be returned by the designated time to avoid a After Dark Cart fee of $20.

Outside Alcohol

Outside alcohol is not permitted on the golf course. This is prohibited by Iowa law.

Rain Check Policy

Rain checks are issued only for inclement weather, including rain or lightning. Rain checks will not be issued due to darkness. Rain checks are prorated based on the number of holes completed, as tracked by our GPS system. No rain checks are issued for Super-Twilight tee times.

Pace of Play

Toad Valley is a busy golf course, and pace of play matters. Golfers are expected to keep up with the group in front of them and complete 9 holes in 2 hours 15 minutes and 18 holes in 4 hours 30 minutes. If your group includes beginner golfers, we encourage using a scramble / best-shot format to help maintain pace.

Grass Driving Range

The driving range is closed on Tuesday mornings for weekly mowing.

Course Operations/Reservation of Rights

To maintain pace of play and overall course flow, Toad Valley reserves the right to: pair groups of fewer than four, adjust starting hole assignments when necessary, move tee times slightly when needed for operational reasons, deny late arrivals their original tee time if they are not ready to play on time.

Discounts & Special Rates

Senior, junior, and military discounts are available and will be adjusted at check-in when applicable.

Trail Fees

If you have a personal cart, the trail fee is $10 or you can purchase a trail fee pass for $200 per year.
